Who we are...

 DZ Hunts is a non-profit organization located in Castroville, Texas.  Our organization is veteran operated and dedicated to fully funding hunting adventures for the families of veterans and first responders.   DZ Hunts raffles off hunts, rifles, gear, and training, to provide these experiences free of charge to our participants.  All money raised through ticket sales goes directly towards the next deserving hunter.  

Founders Kenton Sims and James Elliott both live in Castroville, Texas.  Kenton operates Dziuk's Meat Market full time and has a passion for the outdoors and hunting.  James served for over 20 years as a Marine and Green Beret, completing 9 combat deployments and learned first-hand the toll it takes on the family, especially children.  Sadly, their pain and sacrifice often times goes unnoticed.

DZ Hunts plans to recognize these children for what they endured.  With hunting adventures and time spent with veteran mentors, these children will return home from their hunt as leaders with new skills for the home, and a respect and pride for their Country and Family.
